YAY! Our first Christmas as a family - Jeremy, Ringo, me, & Bailey! Never a better time to take a family picture in the winter snow…? Hmmm… not quite snow this year! The weather seems to be a little bit confused down here as the thermometer tipped the 90 degree mark yesterday (that is about 29C for my Canadian friends & family). Craziness!
Anyways – besides the weather not knowing what it is doing – we do! Jeremy & I are celebrating Christmas with family down here on the 21st with the Spainhour family and the 23rd with the Pierce side of the family! Lots of Christmas baking and yummy new treats that I have never seen in my life! Who knew you could make a stuffing CASSEROLE!?! My favorite dish is still the sweet potato casserole! YUMMY!
Our Christmas plans continue as we fly to ALMOST Canada for the Currie family Christmas on the 24th till the 31st. And yes it will be ONLY almost Canada because – alas – my dumb US paperwork has not come through yet and a customer service representative told me it would take a miracle of God for my papers to come through in time, as they are 3 months behind. Not that I don’t think God could not come through and get in all done but… it seems to me that I will be spending Christmas in Lyndon or Sumas Washington (sad). But that is okay – at least I will be able to see my family and my new little niece Averi! Congrats again to Brock & Carly on their second little one!!
And as for Jeremy – he is finishing this semester up with a 4.0 at John Wesley Bible College and is looking forward to his last semester there until he graduates in May! Yahoo! Ya Jeremy! So life is great and merry here during the Christmas season! We hope you & yours are well!
Merry Christmas and remember Jesus is the reason for the season!!
